The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) has charged the Club Licensing Committee to start inspection of the various stadia that will be used as match venues for the proposed Novelty competition.
The decision to commence the inspection today was announced through an email circulated to all the clubs following the NC’s meeting with the club representatives on January 8, 2019.
Club Licensing Manager of the football governing body in the country Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi will be in charge of the inspection of the various match venues.
All home grounds of all 64 clubs drawn from the Premier and Division one Leagues will be inspected and the ones that will be approved by the club licensing committee will be used for the competition.
The proposed special competition is expected to get the clubs active on the local scene and it will be used to pave way for the new regime of the FA following the fall of the previous administration.
On Friday, January 11, all stakeholders will meet for the official launching of the competition which will commence on January 26. The venue for the launching is however yet to be communicated.
