Alex Asamoah ‘Makwekwe’ has revealed that his former outfit Asante Kotoko still owe him GHC8,000.
According to him, the Kumasi based club failed to meet their terms of the contract.
The Techiman Eleven Wonders forward joined in 2008 but struggled to live up to expectation causing his release.
However, Asamoah wants his former employers to settle the outstanding arrears nearly a decade after leaving the Club.
“I joined Kotoko on 17th Mach, 2008 and I signed a 2 years contract with Kotoko in a bid of 100 million (old cedis) but they (Kotoko) still owe me 8,000gh,” he told Ash FM in Kumasi.
“I played in the Kotoko U-20 so when I was joining the senior team, I knew what the fans want so there was no fears and I did exactly what they wanted,” he added.
The former Ashanti Gold player spent two seasons with Kotoko.
