Physical Trainer Of Kotoko Resigns After Paa Kwesi Fabin's Exit

The physical trainer of Asante Kotoko, Derrick Owusu has resigned after a day after their coach Paa Kwesi Fabin left his role at the club, the Public Relations Officer of the club has confirmed.

He joined the former Premier League champions when Paa Kwesi Fabin assumed his position at the club handed in his resignation on Friday.

It is believed Owusu’s relationship with Fabin forced him to leave the club since his boss is no longer at the club.

Lawyer Sarfo Duku confirmed Owusu’s resignation on Kumasi based radio station Metro FM.

“Derick Owusu has resigned from his role as a physical trainer alongside Paa Kwesi Fabin. He, Owusu, handed us his letter of resignation on Friday.” Communication director Sarfo Duku said on Metro FM.

Meanwhile, Paa Kwesi Fabin is reported to be joining newly promoted National First Division (NFD) outfit Maccabi FC in South Africa.

Derrick Owusu could join his boss in South Africa in the coming weeks.
