The clash of the titans between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko was officially launched on Wednesday.
The clash will be used to celebrate former Ghana President, John Agyekum Kuffour and will see the two most glamorous clubs in the country battle out in a two-legged tie.
The match also gives the two sides the opportunity to renew their age-long rivalry following the decision to halt all football activities after the public airing of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas ‘Number 12’ documentary.
Kotoko play their counterparts at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on August 26 with another game coming on at the same venue on September 2.
The representatives of the two clubs were present to grace the occasion during the launch.
