Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan says he will highly be dismayed to see corruption in Ghana football in the upcoming Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé centred on corruption in politics and football.
There is uneasy calm among several football administrators and most Ghana Premier League clubs since Tiger Eye PI team announced they will release their latest piece which is mainly focused on football and politics.
However, the Kayserispor forward maintains he will be shocked if the undercover journalist’s latest investigative piece is able to actually uncover rot in Ghana Football because he is yet to come across it himself.
Gyan nonetheless insists he is eager to see the revelations by Anas when his newest documentary titled ‘Number 12′ is premiered in Accra and other selected cities in Ghana on June 6.
“As the captain of the Black Stars, I’m interested in the video and will make time to watch it if only I’m in Ghana. I will be very shocked if it comes out clear that there is corruption in our game (Ghana football),” Gyan told Hot FM.
“This is because throughout my career I have not come across such an issue till date so we’re all waiting,” he added.
The Number 12 video will be premiered at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 6th, 2018.
