Bayern Munich Goal Machine Kwasi Okyere Wriedt Ready To Play For Ghana After Ibrahim Tanko Talks

Bayern Munich promising talent Kwasi Okyere Wriedt has announced his readiness to play for the Black Stars after talks with assistant national team coach Ibrahim Tanko.

The Hamburg-born is eligible to play for the West African country.

Wriedt, 23, is a promising prospect who has scored 20 league goals in 27 appearances in the in the Regionalliga Nord.

He made his Bundesliga debut in November last year as a 68th-minute substitute for Sebastian Rudy in the 2-1 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach.

At 1.87m tall, Wriedt is a powerful striker with pace to boot.

He is naturally two-footed and is not just an out-and-out goal-getter — he is a provider as well.
