In an interesting twist to events, dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has sent a special shout-out to his arch-rival Shatta Wale.
Stonebwoy took the bold step to acknowledge his rival when he was receiving the award for the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
After making history by winning that award four times in the row, he spent some time to send a special greeting to his Zylofon Music label mate.
“I know this is going to be crazy. Shout out to my other brother…It’s all love. The struggle is real but it’s all love,” he said.
This drew loud cheers and applauds from patrons at the Accra International Conference Centre Sunday dawn.
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have over the years been involved in one of the longest-running beefs in the Ghanaian music industry.
They have taken jabs at each other and matters got worse when Shatta Wale also signed to Zylofon Music. That did not go down well with Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy also acknowledged, Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold and Zylofon Media. “I love you. You are my brother…” he said.
