A joint album by rappers Ko-Jo Cue and Shaker will be released later this year.
The first single and video off the project were debuted yesterday at a press soiree at BBNZ Live Bar at Nima, Accra.
The album titled ‘Pen and Paper‘ was inspired by fans of the two acts asking them “to take it to the beginning of their music career” and “not necessarily focused on making hits or money.”
The strictly hip hop project will have twelve songs and two bonus tracks.
Amongst other issues, Kwame Blay, founding member of the music label, BBNZ Live discussed strategies including a campus tour the team has put together to market the album by the artistes.
In the coming weeks, an album listening session will be held to formally introduce the project to Journalists, bloggers and industry personalities.
It will be available for streaming and download on Aftown, a Ghanaian music streaming service and an online music store. A representative of the streaming service disclosed that there will be a three-week period for fans to pre-order the album.
